Yoga for Pain Management
Alison offers 4-week online Adaptive Yoga courses. These classes are live, and recordings are available for 4 weeks after the class is conducted. The classes include chair options, modifications for mobility issues and injury management, and meditation.
Next course dates:
Tuesday - 10.30am-11.15am - March 9, 16, 23 & 30.
Friday - 12.00pm-12.45pm - March 5, 12, 19 & 26

Inpatient Chronic Pain Programs - Brisbane Pain Rehabilitation Service
Alison has a special interest in the adaptation of yoga practices to meet the needs of the individual and works as part of the team at Brisbane Pain Rehabilitation Services (BPRS) to assist patients with pain relief strategies.
BPRS addresses the causes of pain, the associated physical de-conditioning, and the psychological and occupational issues complicating the management of pain. The goal of the program is to provide patients with strategies to deal with their pain and to return to a more functional life.
